How to Use the LG Gas Range on a 50Hz Electricity?

FAQI recently bought a stove in Miami to use in the Caribbean, LG gas range, to be specific. The problem is the oven needs 60hz to be functional however, our system is 50 hz. I am looking for a device to use on the stove so that it receives the right electricity that it needs. The specs on the stove are 120 v 60Hz 8.3 Amp. My country is 240 v 50Hz. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you.

FAQLG Gas Range that you bought in Miami is designed to operate on 120V/60Hz electricity. In order for it to run on a 240V/50Hz electricity, you need a device not only changing the voltage from 240V to 120V, but also capable of converting the power frequency from 50Hz to 60Hz. We call this device a Voltage and Frequency Converter. It ensure your LG Gas Range runs properly in Caribbean.

Using LG range model #LSG4513 in Portugal

FAQI bought a LG range model #LSG4513 and shipped it to Portugal. Of course here all power used is 220 volts. I have a very big/ powerful transformer that I installed that supplies 6 plugs in my house with an optional 110 volt circuit. The burners work fine on my range but as soon as I tried to program the clock/ electronic part of the range it will not allow me. After much frustration of trouble shooting I finally found out today why the electronic part of my range would not work. The transformation of my 220 volt to 110 volt system is lacking the 60 HZ to 50 HZ conversion. Today I borrowed a small American made 110 volt 60 hz generator from a friend of mine and after I started it up and hooked up the range to it, the clock setting/ oven features worked in a normal way!
Out of your products which one would you advise to be the best for my Range needs?

FAQFor your gas range, we have 3 different options available that will solve your issue. All of our units do need to be installed in a room with adequate ventilation and away from heat. There are products do not make any noise or vibration, are solid-state electronics, and sealed with no internal fans.
This is the slimmest Voltage & Frequency Converter with no internal fans that can be hidden from view. There are many users use this model for use with Gas Ranges.
This is the most economical Voltage and Frequency Converter that can also be attached to a wall. It also comes with an extension outlet that can be attached to a wall.
This model was specifically designed to be installed in a different part of the house, near the Power panel for example, it is the voltage and frequency converter that hidden from view, so that you basically never have to see them. It comes with a kit to make the installation process as easy as possible.
However, if you have additional items in the house or have interest in buying more 120v/60hz products in the future, we recommend going with the larger capacity voltage frequency converter.
